Employees are no doubt the forefront of any business’ success and hence the trend that sees employers looking at ways to motivate their employees. Energy levels and ultimately the creativity an employee brings to an organisation can be attributed to the level of motivation an employee has.

Energy levels and ultimately the creativity an employee brings to an organisation can be attributed to the level of motivation an employee has.
So, you want to encourage and inspire your staff? Assist them to perform to their best abilities, provide the creativity your business requires to go to the next level? But how do you accomplish this? We have spoken with employees from all different industries and positions on what motivates them. The most common responses we received were:
- The most common want from employees was: Acknowledgment and Recognition – The easiest motivational tool that any manager can provide.
- Of course nothing says motivate me more, then $$$$ or a nice performance-based bonus, but some more simple gestures like movie tickets or paid outings are common requests
- Some employees commend their workplaces on providing simple things like fruit and cereal for breakfast, where they know their staff are stuck for time with a heavy commute
- Points based motivation seems to be a competitive business strategy whereby employees obtain “points” to purchase items they want
More over, keep it simple and the more regularly motivated the employee, the better the Employee Motivation the better the performance output.
